On July 7 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko, FISU President Claude-Louis Gallien took part in official reception on behalf of Organising Committee of the 27th World Summer Universiade.

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated guests on opening of Universiade saying that the opening ceremony was held on the highest level.

Vitaly Mutko and Claude-Louis Gallien addressed the audience with welcoming speech.

Famous Russian and Tatarstan artists and teams performed at the event.
