Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Chief Medical Officer of the Federal Neurosurgery Center of the Russian Healthcare Ministry Albert Sufianov

On 2 August at the International Exhibition Center Kazan Expo Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Chief Medical Officer of the Federal Neurosurgery Center of the Russian Healthcare Ministry Albert Sufianov, who came to Kazan to take part in the VIII convention of the World Congress of Tatars. 

The parties discussed issues of development of neurosurgery in Tatarstan and strengthening scientific and practical interaction between the Federal Neurosurgery Center and medical institutions of the republic.

Albert Sufianov, who is the highest category neurosurgeon and one of the most authoritative practical surgeons in the world, was appointed the Chief Medical Officer of the Federal Neurosurgery Center of the Russian Healthcare Ministry (Tyumen) in 2010 and in 2015 was elected a full member of the World Academy of Neurosurgeons (the only representative from Russia).
