Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: Builders have stepped over the bar of 2 million square meters of built housing - more than 78% of the annual plan

On 30 July, reporting about the rate of housing construction and implementation of federal and regional programmes of construction of social and cultural facilities and public spaces at a meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government house of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin said that the yearly housing construction plan has been fulfilled for over 78 per cent.

He said that builders have stepped over the bar of 2 million square meters which makes 138.8 per cent compared to the same period last year and commissioned nearly 100 out of 150 thousand square meters built by the social mortgage programme. 

The individual housing programme has been ready by 87 per cent and commercial housing has been ready by 66 per cent, the Minister said. 

He also reported about work going on providing housing for certain categories of people, such as orphans, young families and forced migrants and the implementation of the federal projects of Comprehensive development of Rural Territories, the Housing and Stable Decrease of Houses Unfit for Human Habitation.

The Minister informed that the surveillance bodies have carried out 860 checks having imposed rulings for fines amounting to 755 thousand roubles.
