On July 26, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regional meeting of financial, treasury and tax authorities of the republic with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Maksim Topilin on the results of the implementation of the consolidated budget for the first half of 2022 and tasks till the end of the current year.
Minnikhanov emphasized that in the first half of the current year, a number of large and medium-sized enterprises, namely 560 organizations, reduced their payments to the budget by almost 10 billion roubles. According to the tax authorities, these enterprises may reduce payments in the third quarter as well.
With regard to personal income tax, the plan has been poorly implemented in some regions of the republic.
Tatarstan President also instructed to continue the activities of the commissions on legalization of «shadow» wages. “The heads of the regions should strengthen the work on formalizing labor relations and reducing the informal labor market. Also, within the framework of the local commissions, it is necessary to intensify work on the personal income tax debt. Today, it is 2.5 billion roubles,” Minnikhanov stated.
He also said that special attention should be paid to land tax.
Tatarstan President instructed to develop balanced budgets at the municipal level: “All expenditure obligations should be provided with real sources of financing”.
