Head of Tatarstan Ministry of Land and Property reports on the housing provision for orphans

On July 7, speaking at the videoconference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regional municipalities, Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Fanil Agliullin reported on the provision of housing for orphans.

Agliullin said that for the period from 2013 to 2021, the ministry purchased 3,366 residential properties for a total amount of 3.7 billion roubles, including 537 million roubles were federal budget funds. All apartments are included in the special housing fund for providing orphans with residential lease agreements for 5 years.

This year, the ministry needs to purchase 600 residential premises for a total of 959.6 million roubles. To date, state contracts for the purchase of 177 apartments have been concluded, including 132 apartments, which have been purchased as the property of the republic and provided to orphans. Auction announcements are under way for 423 apartments.

Agliullin emphasized that the legislation provides for the possibility of acquiring occupied residential premises by orphans.
