Rustam Minnikhanov meets Consul-General of China in Kazan

On 6 July at the Chinese consulate in Kazan Tatarstan President Ruistam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Consul General of China Wu Yingqin, who is completing his mission in Tatarstan and is transferred to other place of work. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov marked the personal contribution of the Consul into strengthening cooperation between Tatarstan and China within the framework of Russia-China relations. “Today interaction of the Consulate General of China with the state bodies of our republic is at a very high level”, - he said. 

Mentioning active cooperation of Tatarstan with Chinese partners and intensification of the contacts in the last years, Minnikhanov said: “You have laid a good foundation and it is very important that your successor is also active and enterprising. I am sure that the positive dynamics of interaction of Tatarstan and China will keep going.”

At the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov also handed in Wu Yingqin a medal commemorating the 100th anniversary of TASSR. 

“This award is high honor and appraisal not only of the work I have done but the activity of the whole tram of our Consulate General. I want to assure you that I will always remain a true friend of Tatarstan,“ Wu Yingqin said.
