On 4 July, speaking at a session “The Meeting points of Industrial Chains – the role of industrial parks and special economic zones infrastructure in the industrial transition” held at the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom-2022 in Yekaterinburg, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the republic has two special economic zones (SEZ) which have been acknowledged as the most efficient in Russia.
“With the support of the Government of the country the SEZ Alabuga has achieved grate results and the revenues of its residents last year amounted to 135bn roubles, 8 000 jobs were created and private investments exceeded 157bn roubles”, Tatarstan President said.
“To stimulate the investments activity we have established an industrial park and launched the first in Russia PAN-precursors plant and a plant manufacturing Aurus vehicles. The center for training blur-collar jobs Alabuga-Politech has been developing since 2019 and we are planning to reach the number of 10 thousand students by 2025”, he said.
Speaking about the SEZ Innopolis, Minnikhanov told about the plans to establish of the Laishevo Industrial Park and the High-Tech Innopark.
Touching the topic of the industrial parks support, Minnikhanov said that 96 industrial parks with about 1500 residents and 52 thousand jobs have been organized in the republic due to the regional support measures.
