Tatarstan President meets Governor of Perm region Dmitriy Makhonin

On 4 July at their meeting on the sidelines of the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom-2022 in Yekaterinburg, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of Perm region Dmitriy Makhonin discussed issues of different spheres of cooperation in particular developing water ways for cargo shipping and ship building.

The parties also touched upon the matter of interaction of industrial enterprises of their regions with the aim of import replacement. Tatarstan President gave an errand to the branch Ministry to step up work in this direction, organize a meeting of heads of industrial enterprises, including ministers of industry.

Speaking to his colleague, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Perm region is one of our leading trade and economic partners with the interregional trade turnover of 15bn roubles. Tatarstan is interested in expanding the amount of supplies”. 

In particular, the republic is interested in increasing deliveries of machine-building goods, helicopters and agribusiness produce, he said and stressed prospects of cooperation in developing petrochemicals market and cooperation in oil processing and in power industries.

In his turn Dmitriy Makhonin reminded that his region is getting ready to host the All-Russia Rural Sabantuy in the village of Barda in 2024.
