Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev

On July 3, during his working visit to Yekaterinburg, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev.

The latest data of interregional trade turnover is fixed at 20.5 billion roubles. “Sverdlovsk region is our strategic partner. Our regions have high volumes of mutual supply of products and services. We supply trucks, buses, tires, chemical products and ready to expand the range, supply automotive equipment, gas pumping and power plants,” Tatarstan President said.

In 1996, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk region was established. Active cooperation has been established in a number of large enterprises of the republicnamely, KAMAZ Automaker, Tatneft Oil Company, Kazanorgossintez, Tatspirtprom Distillery and others.

At the end of the meeting, an Action Plan for the implementation of the Agreement between Tatarstan and the Sverdlovsk Region for the period up to 2024 was signed. This is a roadmap for joint work. In the Sverdlovsk region, Representation of Tatarstan will coordinate this work.
