Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov

On 2 July at his meeting with Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to a working trip to Mordovia to take part in the XII All-Russia Rural Sabantuy, expressed his gratitude for the large scale preparation work and holding the Sabantuy. He said that the Administration of Mordovia treats with respect customs and traditions of all ethnicities living in the region. In particular he said he is thankful for the support of work of Tatar public organizations and careful attitude to religion and culture of the Tatars.

Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned that historically Tatarstan and Mordovia have nice partnership relations. “Dynamic of the development of your republic is very positive and we are happy for success of your region. You have great potential”, he said. 

He stressed that Tatarstan is interested in further development of comprehensive relations with Mordovia and added: “We are ready to support you in any business”.

In his turn Artyom Zdunov expressed his gratitude to Tatarstan President for supporting the organization of the All-Russia rural Sabantuy.”Teams of our republics prepared this fest together and we are ready to welcome numerous guests from various regions of our country. Sabantuy is a really multi-national event which unites people. Last year we passed a regional programme on development of languages and cultures of all ethnicities living in the region and pay great attention to this issue”, he said.
