As many as 18 thousand entrepreneurs will be able to move to a new tax treatment

Speaking at a briefing in the Government house of the republic, the head of Tatarstan Department of the Federal Tax Service Marat Safiullin has said that starting from 1 July the republic introduces a new tax treatment “Automated Simplified Taxation system (ASTS)”.

He stated that Tatarstan alongside with Moscow and Moscow and Kaluga regions has become a participant of a pilot project on introduction of a new tax treatment, which is the first tax treatment in the world which makes it possible to calculate taxes for the taxpayers from cash registers and bank accounts.

Safiullin said that the new tax treatment will be most suitable for the self-employed who would like to scale up their business and this will decrease the administrative burden and expenses of taxpayers.

“We have calculated that about 18 thousand people will be comfortable using this new system”, he said.
