Rustam Minnikhanov: the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is our distant but very important trade partner

On June 24, in Yakutsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aysen Nikolayev took part in the forum "Tatarstan - Yakutia", where a presentation of the investment and innovation potential of the two republics was held.

“We are meeting a large fraternal delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, which came to celebrate the Days of Tatarstan. It is especially pleasant that you have come to share the holiday, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic with us,” Nikolayev welcomed the participants of the forum.

The head of the Republic of Sakha emphasized the importance of inter-municipal cooperation. A number of agreements between the municipalities of Yakutia and Tatarstan were signed at the forum.

“The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is our distant but very important trade partner. The volume of interregional trade turnover increases annually. There are deliveries of trucks, tires, fuel from Tatarstan,” Tatarstan President said in his welcoming speech.

Speaking about the industrial potential of the republic, Minnikhanov drew attention that today Tatarstan produces 25.6 percent of Russian polyethylene, 41.5 percent of synthetic rubber, every second truck tire and every third truck.

Agreement between Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation Company and the Zatayaskaya Shipyard Company

Agreement between "Innovative industrial park Technopark in the sphere of high technologies" Technopolis "Khimgrad" and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

cooperation agreement between Sakha-Rem Company and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
