Tatarstan President takes part in the laying of the park «Kazansky» in Yakutsk

On June 24, during his working visit to Yakutia, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the laying of the park «Kazansky» in Yakutsk.

Minnikhanov drew attention that Kazan is one of the oldest cities in the country and the fate of many peoples of Russia, including the Yakuts, is linked with it.

“I would like to sincerely thank the Head of the republic Aysen Sergeevich Nikolayev, the Yakutsk administration for supporting the initiative of our compatriots to create a park named after Kazan. Let it become a new incentive for further strengthening of friendship between our republics and fraternal nations», Minnikhanov concluded.

A monument to the great Tatar poet Musa Jalil will be erected in the park.
