On 22 June in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an opening of the new pharmaceutical logistics complex of the Protek Company.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minnikhanov thanked investors for their trust and implementation of such large and socially important project in the republic. “I am glad that the project we discussed in 2019 has been successfully completed despite all difficulties. Pharmaceuticals are everyday products and the fact that we have brought such amount of products closer to customers testifies that the Protek Company believed in out republic”, he said.
He concluded that the project was a very important step for the republic as “our task is to improve quality of life of our people and the most important is health. We will be healthy if we have everything necessary for that”.
The Chairman of the Protek Board of Directors Vadim Yakunin thanked the administration of the republic for supporting the project and said that the launch of the logistics center will facilitate accessibility of the broader range of pharmaceuticals for residents of the republic and neighbouring regions.
The new complex specializes in the storage of medications, nutritional supplements and medical devices as well as in receiving, statement of requirements, order picking and shipping the orders to the customers from Tatarstan, Chuvashua, Marii El, Udmurtia and Komi, Perm and Kirov regions, having the assortment of 12 thousand listings with the further expansion up to 15 thousand.
