On 20 June, accompanied by regional Minister of Culture Irada Ayupov, the Aid to the President Olesya Baltusova and Director General of the Tatinvestgrazhdanproject Design and Construction Bureau Adel Khusnutdinov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited public offices of the Kazan Kremlin.
During the visit, Minnikhanov was told about proposals of development of the artistic projects of the Kazan Kremlin museum, the expositions of which will include historical iconography, architectural models, documentary and archives materials and multimedia installations. The authors of the project think that one of the important elements of the future museum is the historical environment itself and propose to maintain the authentic appearance of the walls and floors. ‘It is necessary to preserve the historical appearance and maintain its spirit”, Minnikhanov said.
Then Tatarstan President looked round the exhibition “The Light of Faith: which shows rare manuscripts and books, Bulgar and Golden Horde coins, embroidered prayer rugs and women’s costumes and ancient jewelry and applied art works and is dedicated to the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria in 922 AD.
After that Rustam Minnikhanov was shown the project of the National Costume Theatre and the concept of the development of the public offices yard space.
