Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin has attended the Sabantuy site in Kazan

On 19 June Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin visited the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy site in Kazan where he congratulated all the participants and guests with the holiday on behalf of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the regional government and read out the address of Minnikhanov dedicated to the holiday.

Speaking to the guests of the holiday, Nigmatullin said: “Sabantuy holiday is our national treasure symbolizing the inter-ethnic and inter-confessional concord. This year it is celebrated in 58 regions of Russia and 35 foreign countries. During this holiday we honour all rural working people who do everything possible for our tables always to be rich and having bread.  We bow down before them and express the deepest gratitude for their hard work!”
