Rustam Minnikhanov meets CEO of Rockwool Russia Company Marina Potoker on the sidelines of SPIEF

On June 17, on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with CEO of Rockwool Russia Company Marina Potoker.

Established in Denmark in 1909, the ROCKWOOL is a leader in rock wool solutions. The company's products have high thermal insulation properties. The products of the plant, located in Tatarstan, were used in the industrial construction of about 16 large facilities in the republic, as well as in civil engineering.

“It is very important that despite the difficult international situation, your company continues to operate. The Rockwool received the status of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone resident in 2007 and opened one of the largest non-combustible materials plants in Europe,” Minnikhanov said.

During the meeting, issues of import substitution of materials used in production were discussed. The meeting participants emphasized that Russian mineral oil producers have been identified; their products will undergo testing at production facilities. They also discussed the issue of using the company's products during the overhaul of apartment buildings, in particular, for insulating the facades of houses.
