Tatarstan has signed an agreement on cooperation with the Gaspromneft Oil Company

On 16 June at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Board of the Gaspromneft Company Aleksandr Dyukov discussed cooperation in oil and gas sphere and signed an agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and the company.
In the end of the meeting the Gaspromneft and the Tatnefl Oil Company signed a MOI on establishment of a branch robotics center, and the Gaspromneft and the Innopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ) signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of innovations.

Speaking to the press after the ceremony, Dyukov said: “Tatarstan is one of the key oil producing regions of Russia and the most important scientific and educational center. We are already working together with the republic in a number of spheres and according to the new agreement Gaspromneft is planning active cooperation with the Innopolis University which specializes in developments in IT and robotics. Together with our partners from Tatarstan we will train new highly qualified specialists for Russian power industry and develop and implement digital technologies for increasing the efficiency of prospecting and production of hydrocarbons and import replacement of software and equipment”.
In addition the Deputy Chairman of the Gaspromneft Board Vadim Yakovlev and the Director General of the SEZ Innopolis Renat Khalimov signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in development of small and medium size strategic enterprises by using the Gaspromneft INDUSTRIX acceleration programme for the startups development.
