Agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and Pochta Bank Company signed

On June 16, on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Pochta Bank Aleksandr Pakhomov.

The advantage of the Bank is the use of existing post offices for the development of the operating network.

The bank fulfills a social task gives access to banking services for rural residents. It is important that the bank operates in all rural Post offices», Tatarstan President said. Today the bank is represented in all municipalities of Tatarstan, in 788 settlements. And in 300 small settlements «Pochta Bank» is the only credit organization.

Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of developing work with entrepreneurs of the republic and the need to develop convenient credit products. Today, there are about 100 industrial sites at the municipal level in Tatarstan, and this would be useful for expanding cooperation.

I would like to separately mention the unique programme that the Bank is implementing on behalf of the President of our country - «The Pushkin Card". This product is in great demand,» Minnikhanov said. On June 1, the republic issued about 207,000 cards.

At the end of the meeting, agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and Pochta Bank Company was signed.
