An Agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and "Russia - a country of opportunities” non-commercial organization signed

On June 15, on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of "Russia - a country of opportunities” non-commercial organization Aleksey Komissarov signed an agreement on cooperation between the Government of Tatarstan and the non-commercial organization.

The platform "Russia - a country of opportunities" unites 26 different projects, competitions and olympiads. Tatarstan is an active participant in many projects. The agreement is aimed at supporting the projects and initiatives that provide opportunities for personal and professional self-fulfillment of young citizens in various spheres, creating new mechanisms for identifying and supporting talents, and extending best practices in the identification and development of talents.

“Tatarstan has been actively cooperating with the platform since its foundation. We have repeatedly carried out such large-scale projects in the republic as «Your turn», «Big Break», «Student of the Year of Russia», «Russian Student Spring», «Cultural Code», «Digital Breakthrough». More than 252,000 Tatarstan citizens have already participated in its projects, and 1801 were among the winners of competitions and Olympiads. The platform is a chance to prove yourself and assess your own potential. In 2022, we will jointly gather the best IT-specialists from all over the country in Kazan and hold the All-Russian hackathon on artificial intelligence in the city of Innopolis. In 2019 the final of the All-Russian contest «Digital Breakthrough» for IT-specialists, designers and managers in the digital economy, which we held together with the platform, was included in the Guinness Book of Records on the number of participants», Tatarstan President emphasized.

The signed document implies comprehensive mutual support in several areas under the organization and implementation of projects and competitions of «Russia - the country of opportunities» and support of their participants in Tatarstan. In particular, the agreement will allow not only to increase significantly the already achieved level of cooperation, but also to propose new formats of joint work to support talented youth and hold joint competitions, promotions and events.
