Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with leaders of the Russian National and Cultural Amalgamation of Tatarstan: We can see results of your work

On 6 June, speaking at a meeting with representatives of creative intelligentsia and leaders of the Russian National and Cultural Amalgamation of the republic dedicated to the Day of Russian Language and 223d birthday of Aleksandr Pushkin at the Pushkin Cultural Center in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the participants with the event and said that such meetings have already become a good tradition.

The Head of the regional President’s Office Asgat Safarov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Chairwoman of the regional Russian National and Cultural Amalgamation (RNCA) Irina Aleksandrovskaya and representatives of the Amalgamation from municipalities of the republic took part in the meeting.

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to the core group of the RNCA and Irina Aleksandrovskaya for the work they are doing and said: “Russian is a native language for all of us and everyone should know it and glorify it no matter where they are”.

Speaking to representatives of the RNCA, Minnikhanov called them patriots of their language and culture and said that their number keeps growing every year making it possible to organize and implement more and more important social and historical and cultural projects.

Having told about the work of the RNCA, its Chairwoman Irina Aleksandrovskaya expressed her gratitude to the Tatarstan President for his Decree on establishment of the Russian Language Commission and reminded that the Karavon Fest was held in the republic for 30th time this year, having gathered about 170 artistic groups.

After Irina Aleksandrovskaya told Rustam Minnikhanov about other projects being implemented by the RNCA, such as a gift book about the Karavon history the historical and ethnographic project of Russian collections in Tatarstan museums, the festival The Songs of Russia and several projects of erecting monuments and busts to Russian writers Maksim Gorkiy and Sergey Aksakov and opening of a Pushkin garden in Kazan, Minnikhanov assured the leaders of the RNCA that their initiatives and projects will be always supported by the administration of the republic. ”Your work is very important and we can see its results. I wish you success and in our turn we will always support you”, he said.
