On May 28, speaking at a video-conference in the Government House of the republic, with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of errands.
Thus, Minnikhanov recalled additional measures of social support for citizens, which were announced on May 25 by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on May 25.
“On May 25, at the Presidium meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced additional measures of social support for citizens. Thus, from June of this year pension for non-working pensioners will be increased by 10 percent, and Pension Fund offices need to timely recalculate and ensure payments. Since June 1, the subsistence minimum also increases by 10 percent. Since July 1, the minimum wage increases by 10 per cent. These decisions will increase the income of the citizens of the republic, especially socially vulnerable one,” Tatarstan President said.
Minnikhanov emphasized that the implementation of these decisions will require additional financial resources from the budget of the republic. He instructed Tatarstan Ministry of Finance, the Government of the republic to promptly prepare calculations on these issues.
Tatarstan President instructed heads of municipalities to organize high-level celebrations dedicated to the International Children’s Day.
