Rustam Minnikhanov has held a meeting with the administrations of small oil companies

On 27 May at a meeting of the administrations of small oil companies held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic, its participants discussed results of work in the first quarter of 2022 and set up tasks for further development.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov said that during the first three months in the current year Tatarstan companies produced 8.7m tonnes of oil, including 7m by the Tatneft Oil Company and 1.7m by small companies, which showed the growth of 7.3 per cent compared to the same period last year.

He also underlined that the share of oil production made 26.2 per cent of 1bn 227m roubles of the industrial production volume of the republic in the first three months of the current year.

After the head of the Volga Department of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor)  Azat Mubarakshin informed participants of the meeting that the service supervises 31 small oil companies, operating 354 hazardous production facilities, Rustam Minnikhanov underlined that every executive manager is personally responsible for incident-free operations at the production site.

Reporting about results of work of small oil companies for the first three months, the First Deputy Director General of the Neftekonsortsium MNK Oil Company Oleg Vyshenskiy said that the companies shipped 74.1bn of products which was by 54 per cent more than during the same period last year, and commissioned 74 new wells.

He also noted that this year is the 25th birthday of the establishment of small oil companies of the republic and during these years they created about 8 thousand jobs and the accumulated oil production made 140m tonnes with 1.2 trillion roubles of taxes paid to budgets of all levels.
