On 26 May Tatarstan President had a meeting with the team of the Kazan Helicopter plant (which is a part of the Russian Helicopters Holding).
Speaking at the meeting, Director General of the Holding Nikolay Kolesov told that as for today the Plant has guaranteed orders for 2022 with the planned manufacture of 111 aircraft and there are orders for manufacturing 106 helicopters in 2023.
Addressing the team of the enterprise, Kolesov said that the plant has a “financial pillow” and the most important task is to fulfil the manufacture plan as the plant has everything necessary for that. He said that it is not an easy task but there were years when the Helicopter Plant assembled up to 200 aircraft. Having raised the wages, at present the plant hired additionally about 400 people and Kolesov reminded that the Russian Helicopters has done its best to provide orders to the plant.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov asked the staff of the plant to ramp up production and said: ”In our turn we will also support you. The republic has always worried when something was going wrong. And today we are proud of you!”
He also paid special attention to the fact that within the financial recovery the enterprise has solved the issues of problematic arrearage and expressed his gratitude to Nikolay Kolesov for active participation in this matter.
In the end of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Russian Order “For merits to Motherland” of the third degree to the President of Association of enterprises and industrialists of the republic Aleksandr Lavrentyev, who was awarded with the order by the decree of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
