Tatarstan President has got acquainted with the construction of the road bypassing Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnyye Chelny

On 25 May, after having flown on the helicopter above the construction sites of the M-7 the Volga highway, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a working meeting in the village of Shingalchi of Nizhnekamsk region with participation of the Head of the Federal Roads Agency Roman Novikov, regional Minister of Transport and Road Works Farit Khanifov, the Head of the Federal Roads Department in Volga-Vyatka region Ildar Mingazov and designers and administration of the Alekseyevskdorstroy Company. 

Today the construction and mounting works are carried out on 23.7km of the second section of the road, which will bypass Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnyye Chelny and, opening the meeting, Minnikhanov said that the new road will make it possible to significantly improve the transport accessibility in the republic and lessen the traffic load on the Nizhnekamsk Hydroelectric station dam.
