The North-South has a promising future for development of the whole Big Eurasia region”.

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov said that Russia is carrying out huge work in improvement of the transport infrastructure and gave an example of the full scale construction of the Moscow-Nizhniy Novgorod – Kazan high speed highway which is the part of the Europe-West China transport route.

He added that due to the necessity to look for alternative routes of freight shipping and strengthening trade and economic relations with Asian, Arabic and African countries the new transport corridor will be in great demand.

“As the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin is coming to our republic to take part in the celebrations of  the 1100th anniversary of adopting Islam by the Volga Bulgaria, we will try to inform him about the results of today’s discussion. I think this project gains more and more supporters”, Minnikhanov concluded.
