The Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin has sent a message of greetings to participants and organizers of the XIII International economic summit “Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit”.

In his message of greetings to participants and organizers of the XIII International economic summit “Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit-2022, read out at the opening of the plenary session of the summit by Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Reshetnikov, the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin has said.

“I am happy to welcome you at the XIII International economic summit “Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit. During the time of its existence the forum has gained an international acknowledgement and today again it has gathered representatives of the state bodies, financial institutes and leaders of Russian and foreign business in Kazan. Russia and Islamic states are connected by deep bonds of friendship and respect. We actively develop interaction in trade and economy, scientific-technical and humanitarian spheres and implement large joint projects.

The Russia-Islamic World forum is a unique possibility to give additional impetus to our multifaceted cooperation, expand exchange of our experience and best practices, to establish new business contacts and sign agreements as well as to give presentations of investments potential of the states and regions.

In the vast agenda of the forum, which includes burning issues of the joint consumption economy, Islamic finances, Halal industry and development of mechanisms of attracting investments, special place is given to the remarkable date of the 1100th anniversary of adopting Islam by the Volga Bulgaria. This is the most important historical event for Russia, Tatarstan and the whole Islamic world. I am sure that the XIII International economic summit will strengthen business ties of Russia with the Islamic world and consolidate mutual understanding and trust between our countries and people”.
