Tatarstan President has given an errand to step up measures to prevent forest fires

On 14 May, speaking at a meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to step up measures to prevent forest fires.

He said that in a number of regions of the country there is a very tense situation with forest fires. ”We have an experience of fighting forest fires. Currently it is raining in the republic but we should not quiet down. The Emergencies Ministry, the Forestry Ministry and municipalities all should keep this situation under special control”, he underlined
