Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan families with children have received 271.8m roubles of subsidies

On 14 May a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Government House of the republic discussed implementation of new measures of supporting citizens.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov said that starting from May 11 families with low incomes started receiving new subsidies on children from 8 to 17 years old within implementation of the anti-crisis measures. Out of 271.8m roubles allocated to these families by 13 May, 40 per cent comes from the regional and 60 – from the federal budgets, he clarified. .

Previously the head of the regional Department of the Russian Pension Fund Eduard Vafin said that 79 380 Tatarstan families are eligible for getting subsidies and Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to carry our active clarification work among population and ensure quick review of all coming applications and allocation of subsidies to the families.
