On June 22 at a weekly video conference meeting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that agricultural producers should do their best to overcome consequences of unfavourable weather conditions. He continued that municipalities can introduce emergency situation regime to mobilize all resources.

According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, the situation is still rather tense. There have not been enough rainfalls over the past week. Draught period is being observed in 12 regions.
