Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the tenth regional iftar

On April 30, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the tenth regional iftar.

The regional iftar has been held in Tatarstan since 2013. This year, over 8,000 people took part in the event. Among those invited are large and low-income families, people with disabilities, orphans and others. Representatives of state authorities, religious and public figures also took part in the iftar. Numerous volunteers were involved in the organization.

The 10th regional iftar was dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria. A fruitful programme was prepared for the participants: hazrat sermons, the performance of munajats, as well as the work of the halal market and Muslim fashion show.
