Tatarstan Ministry of Economy: Situation with the trade stock in the food market of the republic remains stable

On 30 April, speaking at a videoconference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said that situation with the trade stock in the food market of the republic remains stable and the amount of basic products in the shop chains and distribution centers is enough to satisfy the demand of the population of the republic.

He said that the import replacement is still the priority for enterprises and they should study the list of the original foreign products in demand that can be imported without permission of right holders and in case something is to be added there to submit proposals to federal branch ministries.

The Minister reminded that regional organizations should use possibility of import replacement through the Regional Marketing Center as much as possible and added that last week the municipalities have already submitted information about 1000 new items which were earlier imported.

Informing that currently 59 regional organizations are included into the List of systemic enterprises of Russian economy, Shagiakhmetov said that three of these enterprises have already received 1.5bn out of 4bn roubles of demanded subsidized credits.

He also told participants of the meeting that in the current week the Russian Government launched new programs of subsidized loans for systemic organizations in transport, IT, construction and housing and utilities sector and broadened the terms of subsidized loans for agribusiness, increasing them from 5 to 7bn roubles.

Last week SMEs submitted 343 applications for 3.8bn roubles subsidies within the federal measures of the SMEs support and 239 of them for 1.8bn have already been approved, the Minister said. He also informed that 35 of 50 applications with the total amount of 29.2m roubles have been approved by regional programmes.

Shagiakhmetov added that earlier a number of companies defined their risks in timely deliveries of the used raw materials, materials and parts as well as ready products to customers, which was mainly related to railway transportation. After meetings held with administrations of the Kuybyshev and Gorky Railway Companies, the Russian Railways decided to use additional trains and increase the staff number for timely unshipping at railway stations, he informed.

In conclusion, speaking about development of the territory of advanced economic development (TAED), the Minister told that with seven new residents, the total number of resident companies grew to 124, which created 375 new jobs with 2.8bn roubles of investments in the first three months of the current year. In total the amount of TAED investments reached 44.4bn roubles with creation of 20 400 jobs and launching 79 productions, he said.
