On 30 April, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that new business support measures developed by the federal government will facilitate stable work of enterprises.
He informed that last week the Russian administration passed a number of important anti-crisis measures such as decreasing the subsidized mortgage interest rate till 9 per cent, prolongation of subsidized mortgage programme till the end of the current year and the broadened VEB.RF guarantee support programme for non-systemic enterprises which have exceeded SMEs criteria.
He also mentioned a list of domestic market manufacturers and service providers to be defined by Russian government for giving them insurance payment deference for one year.
“This is a great help and branch ministries and heads of municipalities must give support to our manufacturers to use all these possibilities”. Minnikhanov said.
Speaking about situation with the Corona, he said that even though the incidence decreased by additional 7.2 per cent in the republic last week, it is not time to relax as every day there are at least 200 new cases in Tatarstan. Minnikhanov called to provide strict following anti-epidemic requirements in work teams, educational institutions and transport.
He also demanded to step up safety measures during the May holidays. ”We are celebrating in honor of workers and those generations the labour feat of which is the foundation of our economy. Kazan has an honorary title of The City of Labour Valour and I would like to congratulate all residents of the republic with the Holiday of Spring and Labour,” Minnikhanov concluded.
Reminding that on 2 May the whole Muslim world is celebrating Eid al-Fitr, Minnikhanov paid the attention of heads of municipalities on the necessity of providing security measures including sanitary-epidemiological limitations at all sites of cult.
