Rustam Minnikhanov has attended an agricultural fair in the Kazan Agro-industrial park

On 23 April Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin attended an agricultural fair in the Kazan Agro-industrial park, where farmers from Saby, Nurlat and Baltasi regions and a number of agribusiness enterprises of the republic brought food products for the total sum of 14m roubles.

Rustam Minnikhanov walked round the fair area and outdoor concession stands of the agro-industrial park, got acquainted with the range and prices for basic products and talked to salesmen and buyers.

Reminding that traditional agricultural fairs started on 19 March in the current year, Marat Zyabbarov said that there is high demand in sugar, flour and vegetables that is why the supply amount of these products has been increased substantially. 

“Traditionally residents can buy quality food products cheaper than in chain stores and, taking into account today’s fair, more than 1bn roubles of food products have already been sold”, - he concluded.
