Speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Minister, the Head of the Department of the Federal Tax Service in the republic Marat Safiullin has said that starting from 2022 physical entities do not need to submit declarations when selling real estate and land plots if the total sum of purchase/sale contracts does not exceed 1m roubles and the price of the sold objects is not less than that in the cadaster.
“But I would like to pay your attention to the fact that if the sales profit is higher than the authorized deductions, then a person still has to submit the tax declaration”, Safiullin clarified.
Another novelty is that families with two and more children do not have to pay income tax and submit declarations about profits from selling housing if the money is spent on purchasing a new accommodation, - he continued.
The changes also took place in getting property and social tax deductions from employers and tax deductions for fitness, Safiullin said.
He also informed that the deadline for income tax declarations for 2021 was moved to May 4 of the current year.
