On 4 April Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a new building of the integrated tuberculosis dispensary in Kazan where the deputy chief medical officer of the Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary Aleksey Alekseyev told him that as the building will house all structural units of the dispensary this will enable optimum use of all resources. The children’s and fluorography examination departments, outpatient endoscopic service, functional diagnostics rooms as well as the bacteriological and clinical diagnostic laboratories and the facility management will be located in the policlinic, Alekseyev said.
He informed that up to 680 people – 420 adults and 260 children will visit the dispensary daily, where they will be able to pass all necessary diagnostics and clinical examination procedures.
Rustam Minnikhanov saw around the facilities of the future dispensary and in the end of the tour talked to its employees. “It is a nice building and the latest equipment. It was a correct decision to locate everything in one place”, - he said.
Tatarstan Minister of Healthcare Marat Sadykov, who accompanied Minnikhanov during the visit, said that everything is ready for the dispensary to start its work in the nearest future.
