Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Senegal

On March 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Senegal, was met by the State Secretary in charge of Senegalese Abroad Moïse Diégane Sarr, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Senegal and the Republic of Gambia Dmitry Kurakov and other officials at the Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport.

Minnikhanov thanked for the kind reception and the opportunity to discuss issues of cooperation, and congratulated the Senegal National Team on getting to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The day before in the match of the African selection in Dakar, the football team of Senegal defeated the national team of Egypt.

During the working visit, Tatarstan President is scheduled to have business meetings, including those with representatives of the leadership of Senegal, as well as participate in the business forum «Tatarstan - Senegal»

Tatarstan delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Director General of Ak Bars Holding Company Ivan Egorov, representatives of the Kazan Helicopter Plant and other senior officials and executives.
