Farid Mukhametshin celebrated Sabantui in Nizhnekamsk

«You deserve the right to celebrate Sabantui as you have achieved evident success in economical and social spheres, urban and rural development,» Farid Mukhametshin said to Nizhnekamsk people during the sowing celebration.

Farid Mukhametshin traditionally visited various holiday sites – from children playground to exhibition halls of Nizhnekamsk’s largest producers and organizations. “Nizhnekamsk today is one of the petrochemical capitals both in Russia and Europe,” the Parliament Speaker said. “The celebration brought together oil workers, petrochemists, constructors, representatives of various spheres, all those who contribute to social and economical development of Tatarstan. I would like to thank you and to wish you new labor successes!”

In Farid Mukhametshin’s words, the geography of Sabantui is growing each year, as well as the number of those who celebrate. Next holiday will take place near St.Petersburg. It will bring together representatives of Baltic states.

The celebration program included the flag flying ceremony, awards presentation to veterans and bright theatrical show. F.Mukhametshin told journalists that Sabantui units people of various nationalities. Today there are representatives of all national and cultural communities of Nizhnekamsk with their traditional costumes, dances and songs.
