Rustam Minnikhanov has looked around inside facilities of the Savior’s Tower of the Kazan Kremlin

On 21 March the offsite meeting with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed the design and survey work in the Savior’s Tower of the Kazan Kremlin.

The Tower was erected in the XVI century by Pskov architects Ivan Shiryay and Postnik Yakovlev and has always been paid special attention to as the main tower of the Kremlin.

In the Soviet times it housed administrative offices and the cleaning and dismantling work started in 2017-2018.

Speaking at the meeting, Director General of the Tatinvestgrazhdanproject Design and Construction Enterprise Adel Khusnutdinov reported about implementation of the design and survey work and the cultural heritage site of the Saviors Tower.

During his tour round the inside facilities of the Tower, Tatarstan President discussed with the designers the current condition of the facility and the design and survey work. He gave an errand to the regional Ministry of Culture to develop a concept of further use of the rooms and the exposition inside the Tower.

The Aid for the Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova , regional Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin also took part in the meeting.
