On March 5, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional meeting, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that restrictions do not pass Tatarstan enterprises by. However, in recent years, the republic has laid a solid foundation that will help it to cope with all challenges.
He emphasized that at the federal level Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin heads the government commission that is operating as an operational headquarters on improving the sustainability of the development of the Russian Economy under restrictions.
“The country's government announced the preparation of decisions to mitigate the restrictions and has already submitted some of them. These are a moratorium on inspections of small and medium-sized enterprises, additional allocation of funds to maintain the concessional lending programme, the launch of new stages of capital amnesty, the allocation of funds for farmers, the extension of tax payment period and a package of measures to support companies that operate in the IT industry,” Tatarstan President said.
Minnikhanov also reported that at the regional level, the operational headquarters, headed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, was also established and started to work to ensure the sustainable development of the economy. A plan to support businesses and provide essential goods was introduced.
Now the main thing is cohesion, mutual support, self-confidence. Our common task is to go through this stage calmly and consistently, to implement all the necessary measures to maintain sustainability,” Tatarstan President emphasized.
