Speaking at the meeting, Director General of the Moscow Center for Monitoring New Technologies Mikhail Yershov informed that the production of “green” kerosene can be organized at the TANEKO refinery which will help Russia not to lose European fuel markets.

He reminded that starting from 2025 all airports of the European Union will be obliged to fill all aircraft with Sustainable aviation fuel, SAF.

“We must do this. Ecology friendly aviation kerosene and easel fuels are a very promising sphere,” – Rafinad Yarullin, Director General of the holding, said.

“We already produced bio fuel. We tested these technologies at the FCC cracker installations and then redesigned them,” Director General of the Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov said.

Rustam Minnikhanov recommended the Tatneft and TAIF-NK to continue their work in this sphere.

Director in scientific research of the Polymers Scientific Research Institute Konstantin Shirshin told the participants of the meeting about new generation of construction foamed plastics Acrimid which increases strength and heat resistance of organic glass used in aircraft. “The glass can endure up to 200C for 20minutes”, - he said.

“It is a very interesting example and it is necessary to study glue and other technologies in Dzerzhinsk”, - Yarullin stated.

The Managing Director in Development and Innovations of the SIBUR Company Dariya Borisova told the meeting that the company is planning to launch a number of projects in plastic recycling and manufacture of biodegradable plastic (polylaktide).

“We want to build several aquathermolysis installations including one at Nizhnekamskneftekhim”,  Borisova said. “Tateft has pilot installations for recycling rubber, plastic and wood and we are working with them to include thermolysis into refining processes”, - she clarified.

Rutsam Minnikhanov said that the project was very interesting and proposed to implement it in Tatarstan as a pilot project.

The Commercial Director of the Modul Transport and Shipping Company Vladimir Guy reported that more than 1.5bn roubles will be invested into construction of a terminal and logistics complex linked to Sviyazhsk inter-regional multi-modal  logistics center to be built on the right bank of the Volga close to M-7 highway and railway going to Moscow. This will help to develop further container cargo transportation with access to ports of Thailand, Indonesia and other Asian countries.

“We are ready to support you. Issues of logistics must be considered together with industrialists as it is necessary to move these transport flows from the city”, Minnikhanov said.

The director of VR Varwin projects from the 3D Innovations Company from St. Petersburg Sergey Gostevskikh told the participants of the meeting about the software for development and implementation of the VR projects in different branches of industry.
