Tatarstan President and the Head of UIM have discussed cooperation in powerboating

On 22 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the International Powerboating Federation (UIM) Raffaele Chiulli discussed further development of cooperation between the republic and the Federation and possibility of organizing in Kazan competitions under the UIM auspices. 

Tatarstan already has an experience of organizing stages of the world powerboating championship on races of the F1H2O speed boats on Kaban Lake in 2011 and 2012, which raised a great interest of residents and guests of the city. More than 60 000 people attended every stage of the competitions in total.
