Rustam Minnikhanov has taken part in the first session of the Association for Facilitating Digital Development in 2022

On 21 February in the Kazan IT-Park Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of the Association for Facilitating Digital Development.

Welcoming participants of the session, Minnikhanov said that the current year was declared the Year of Digitalization (in the republic)and a lot of events, including work with school children and students and developing digital skills of the population, especially elderly people will be organized. He added that substantial financing will be allocated on digitalization of social sphere such as education, healthcare, etc.

He reminded that much work is already done in this direction and every week “our ministers defend their projects in implementation of IT technologies in the work of their ministries”. Tatarstan President also underlined that large IT reserves are in industry and the meeting considered issues of digitalization at the Tatneft Oil Company and the KAMAZ Automaker.

In the conclusion Minnikhanov said that these companies were the most IT advanced enterprises and said he was sure the work in this sphere will continue.

The Chairman of the Council of the Association Rifkat Minnikhanov also informed that the Tatneft and the KAMAZ are industrial partners of the Association.
