The Republic of Tatarstan and IBM Corporation signed the transaction about intentions.

On August ,22, Tatarstan Government and IBM Corporation signed the transaction about intentions for creation of center of program software decisions IBM. The document defined the areas of cooperation of the sides connected with creation of new IT park in Tatarstan capital – Kazan.

The transaction was signed by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, General director of IBM, “IBM East Europe/Asia” JSC Kirill Kornilyev and General manager of IBM on market growing rates Bruno Di Leo.

As Rustam Minnikhanov noted this document will give the possibility to realize further events according to agreements between RT Cabinet and IBM Corporation. Moreover, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is rather interested in foundation of IT Center.

In particular, Mr. Bruno Di Leo announced that he considers this document as “the first stage in cooperation with republic, a number of other agreements will also follow it”.
According to the results of meeting there will be created work groups from the side of Tatarstan and IBM Corporation in order to start the real work. It’s meant that the parties will meet to discuss current tasks at least once in 6 months.
