Rustam Minnikhanov visits the Kazan lyceum “Unber”

On February 21, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Minister of Education and Science of the republic Ilsur Khadiullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Director of the educational institution Almaz Khamidullin visited the multidisciplinary lyceum «Unber», which was opened in the Art City residential complex on September 1, 2021.

To date, as many as 949 schoolchildren are studying in an educational institution, where they can receive a quality education of international level and where attention is paid to the comprehensive development of children.

Unber works in one shift with a six-day school week in 4 areas - mathematical, linguistic, chemical-biological and humanitarian. Khamidullin said that the lyceum is actively developing an information management system, as well as introducing its own mobile application. It will help schoolchildren to get additional information, and teachers and parents to communicate quickly.

Tatarstan President was informed that during the work of the lyceum a number of events were held, including a series of training seminars for teachers of Tatar language, at which teachers shared their experience in teaching their native language and innovative developments in its study.

During the visit, Tatarstan President visited the classrooms, the library, the assembly hall, the swimming pool and the dining room.  Minnikhanov also had a meeting with the teachers of the lyceum. The teaching staff consists of modern and experienced teachers invited from different cities of Russia and from abroad (the United States of America, Colombia, Kazakhstan, Saint Petersburg, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk. Many of them prepared winners and prize-winners of All-Russian and international Olympiads.
