Rustam Minnikhanov has held a meeting of the SEZ Alabuga Supervisory Board

A meeting of the SEZ Alabuga Supervisory Board held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during his working trip to the special economic zone has approved additional investments of 30bn roubles of Kastamonu Company into production of wood panels which is the fifth project of the Hayat Company in Alabuga.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov said that the total amount of investment is reaching 1bn US dollars and the client who keeps returning is a clear sign of trust in Tatarstan and Alabuga investment climate. “It is a large project and it surely is very important for us”, - he added.

The Kastamonu Company has also signed a big agreement according to which the Alabuga Politech Educational Institution will train 200 qualified specialists to work at the expanding production.

Alabuga Politech is establishing the largest centre of training blue-collar workers that will be teaching up to 10 000 people a year.
