Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to give a quick response to people’s complaints on high central heating bills

At the weekly Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has given an errant to solve the situation with people’s complaints on high central heating bills.

He said that in the last few days there were many publication and reports in Mass Media and social networks on increased January (utility) bills especially in such large cities as Kazan, Naberezhnyye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk. 

“We should respond to this situation. The Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector together with the managing companies and resource providing organizations should analyze every case. It is necessary to carry out work among population clarifying the reasons for increasing the payments and if there any mistakes – to give a quick response”, Minnikhanov said.

Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that the bills were higher due to raising the heating bills as the temperature drops and the tariffs remain the same. “You should tell this to people and clarify everything in detail. I ask you to monitor this issue”, Minnikhanov added.
