Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities

On February 8, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities on the results of its work in 2021 and plans for 2022.

Before the meeting, Minnikhanov accompanied by Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Marat Ayzatullin and other officials got acquainted with the exhibits of the specialized exhibition and looked around samples of special equipment.

The meeting started with a film on the results of the work of construction industry in the past year.

The participants of the event watched a video message from Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Marat Khusnullin, who congratulated the construction workers of the republic on the 100th anniversary of the construction industry. They are among the leaders in the country, he emphasized. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia also said that almost 3 million square metres of housing had been commissioned in the region, that is an unprecedented amount.

Ayzatullin made a keynote report. At the end of 2021, housing commissioning exceeded the forecast by 12.8 per cent in Tatarstan and amounted to 3 million square meters, which became a historical record.

In 2021, the amount of the work done in the sphere of construction increased by 7.8 per cent to 416 billion roubles, and 400 enterprises of the construction complex of the republic shipped products for 45.3 billion roubles. The tax payments of the construction complex increased by 29 percent - up to 35.1 billion roubles, tax arrears amount to 438 million roubles.

Over the past year, the average wage in the construction sector increased by 9 per cent to 35,000 roubles and the number of employees in the industry increased by 600 people up to 86,600.

Head of the Zelenodolsk region of the republic Mikhail Afanasyev reported on the plans for the development of the area.

Deputy Director General for Sales and Marketing «Suvarstroit» construction company Elvira Galyautdinova also spoke at the meeting.

Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Nikita Stasishin and Director General of the state corporation - Housing and Utility Reform Foundation Konstantin Tsitsin also made reports at the meeting. Tsitsin handed over a payment order amounting to 48 million roubles for the project being implemented in Yelabuga today. He proposed to start the modernization of housing and utilities.
