Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates the winners of the regional contest for the best New Year's event and festive decoration

On February 5, at a regular Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic, the results of the 9th Regional Contest among municipalities, enterprises and organizations for the best New Year's event and festive decoration were summed up.

Chairman of the Public Chamber of Tatarstan Zilya Valeeva said that 12 working groups attended 91 New Year's events in 45 municipalities. Also, 93 works from 44 municipalities and 36 rural settlements were submitted for consideration: albums, installations, 8.5 hours of New Year's videos. In total, there were 9 nominations in the contest this year.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in diplomas to the winners of the contest among municipalities.

These were the Kirovsky and Moscow districts of Kazan, the cities of Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsky, Yutazinsky, Kaibitsky, Vysokogorsky, Sabinsky, Mamadyshsky regions of the republic. «It is a very good practice, it is necessary to continue it», Tatarstan President noted.
