Rustam Minnikhanov and Denis Manturov have taken a tour round industrial grounds of Khimgrad residents

On 4 February Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, who came on a working visit to Kazan, visited the Khimgrad technopolis - a modern industrial chemical park with a total area of 131 hectares. The site comprises 360 companies including seven of them with a foreign capital share.

Residents of the Khimgrad mainly work in the spheres of low-tonnage chemistry, polymer processing, nanotechnologies, biotechnologies, resource and energy saving and medical technologies and their production volume in 2021 reached 57.8bn roubles which was by 23% more than in the previous year. They also paid 6.9bn roubles of taxes into budgets of all levels in 2021. 

During the visit Rustam Minnikhanov and Denis Manturov accompanied by the Director General of the Khimgrad Ayrat Gizzatullin looked around industrial grounds and were told about the manufactured produce.

Later the same day Tatarstan President and Russian Minister visited an exhibition of industrial enterprises of the republic.
